Mina's Random Thoughts On Everything And Nothing
then there you go...

1. Who are you?
I'm Mina Amara, sometimes know as Lauren, or even Luckyrabbit. But Nola already knows that, so why is she asking me to share my identity on her site? I'm also sure people have other names for me that they are not willing to share with me to my face or email or whatever. But that's a whole other story.

2. How do you know Nola aka Michelle aka Jyoti Kaija aka what the hell is her deal with names any way?
I know her through
Roswell and we progressed from there. Well anyone who has read her first article would know what the hell is with her names and as you can see from my answer to the first question I have the same problem.

3. Why is she using you on this site?
She is using me on the site because I am special, not in the mental way (well maybe, but few people know that). I just happen to be a really awesome person that she can relate too a little too well. That wavelength we are on at the same time can be really freaky at times.

4. Why are you letting her?
I don't think I had much of a choice. You see I was told, not asked. But I guess I am letting her because I need the exposure... [good Lord no I don't.] I prefer to be left alone, but I know how important her friends are to her and I figure I must rank somewhere if I'm being used. That doesn't sound very good, but if you take it the wrong way I won't be offended because you're not worth my time then anyways.

5. Is that really true or are you scared of her?
Scared of her? Some people may be, but I think I have known her too long to be scared of her. Use to her yes, scared no. In fact she may be scared of me...I can be a bit weirder than her sometimes. But only she has really gotten to see that anyways. And yes its all really true. I have absolutely no reason to lie, because truth or not...you will believe what you want to anyways. So why bother taking the time to make up some elaborate hoax that you will take how you will.

6. What do you do for this site?
I exist...lol. I happen to be an icon on the site...again lol. Well something like that. I also happen to be the great and powerful feedback queen. If you need to know what else I do for the site you will have to ask the site keeper.

7. Why does she think we want to know her opinions ... or yours for that matter?
Well if you're taking the time to check out the site...its either because you were persuaded to, stumbled upon it, or you just happen to know her from her amazing anticdotes and stories on various messages boards and love to hear what she has to say. You look up to her. As for my opinion. I take great pride in what I think and share. I don't give my opinions freely to those I don't know so they always seem more important when they are shared. Plus she and I both know that our opinions are always top-of-the-line-close-to-right-about-everything kind of information. But we don't want to throw that in your face or brag. So she has created a nice little outlet here to share and if you're here you must be seeking opinions of some kind....so read on.

8. Describe Nola ... Jyoti ... whatever in two words or less?
Two words isn't nearly enough to describe her, but I'll give it a shot. Honest and loyal. Do you want me to explain? Even if you don't I will. Nola is unforgivingly honest. Which is what I like about her. She doesn't take a whole lot of time sugar coating things and comes across as blunt, sometimes even mean. But hey people in this world tend to handle a lot of things with rose colored glasses, especially when it comes to themselves. She puts a little bit of reality into perspective and doesn't apologize for it. She is loyal...within reason of course. You show her you are honest and respectful of yourself and others and that you have opinions of your own and can also be open to hear what others have to say than you pretty much have a friend for life. But you have to prove yourself, which is what life is all about anyways.

9. Describe yourself in 4 words or less.
4 words....hmmm. 4 words. Opinionated, blunt, independent, and compassionate. No I will not explain, I don't like to talk about myself.

10. Any last words?
Thanks for the forewarning Nola dear, hoped you enjoyed all I had to share. :-P

And now presenting ...

March 26- April 1st

The hustle and bustle of the city can seriously leave your head spinning when it's Monday morning and you are making your first attempt to get to your soon to be “new” job and you decide to get off the train and walk to work in the opposite direction of the building you need to be at.

Thank my lucky charms I got off the train at the correct stop. I’m surprised the 25 minutes of walking around a couple of blocks to get to my destination didn’t put me into raging bitch mode. Especially considering the white slushy stuff we have been enjoying lately called snow, creating a lovely walking surface for my Monday morning hike. It seemed to take forever, but I put on that “I’m in a hurry and can’t be bothered” face and walke fast.

All the while I am wondering how long it will take me to find something I recognize and keep the look of relief off my face at the same time. All these real busy city people can’t possibly find out about the dread this former city girl had about being lost in the first place. I’m not refusing to ask for directions out of pride, I’m avoiding asking out of fear of breaking the morning stride of those so intent on reaching their destination. Thank my lucky charms I have a watch. I could just see myself asking the white rabbit the time and him freaking out about being late. Horrors of forever wandering flashed through my head.

Finally I see something familiar … relief fills me as I enter the building. I should have known the relief wouldn’t last long; the day (and week…eek) has only just begun…
